How we work
Articles are researched against primary sources: standards, codes, manufacturer documentation and official publications. Every article is reviewed before it is published, and articles that rely on specific facts or figures link their main sources at the end so you can check them yourself.
- We show our working. Calculators display the formula, the inputs and every step.
- We don’t invent experience. We never claim to have tested a product unless we actually did, and we explain how.
- We keep it current honestly. An “Updated” date means the content really changed.
- We correct mistakes openly. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change.

Himanshu Amdavadi is an electrical engineering professional and the owner of iPower Switchgear, an engineering consultancy based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, specializing in power system analysis services and electrical design consultancy. With 9 years of industry experience, he founded EngiLoop to provide accurate, practical engineering guides, technical calculations, and design tools.
Through iPower Switchgear, he provides professional power system analysis services, industrial switchgear engineering, protection coordination, and electrical design consultancy for reliable, code-compliant power distribution.
